After 35+ years in the industry, we can honestly saythat most people never really think about their front doors. The reality is that the entry door to your home is an integral part to the overall weather integrity of the home. Even the most advanced doors on the market today won't last forever. As your hinges start to fail they throw your door out of alignment creating gaps. The seals on your doors suffer the same fate. They constant opening and closing of the door wears the seals out and also creates gaps. Just how bad can it be? A gap around the door as small as 1/16th of an inch can be theequivalent of having a 2 ½ footwhole in the wall. That gap is literally sucking money right out of your home.
